Hello, 5'ers!  It's with a sad heart that we post this update...but after almost 10 years of making music Klondike-5 is officially no more.  The past year and half we saw some pretty drastic changes, both with band and life that we never quite recovered from.  After a long battle with the inevitable, we decided that it was time to acknowledge the great music that was created and move on to other adventures, both musical and otherwise.

We want to give a HUGE thank you to every single person that came to a show, once or multiple times, and bought ALL THAT BEER!   To every person that bought an MP3, a CD, or five CDs.  To every person that proudly wore a t-shirt, or passed out flyers or just spread the word for the band they loved.  To every venue that gave us a chance to play our music to our friends and family.  We are SO appreciative of the support we've received and we love you all very, very much.

We have no further plans to release the hinted at EP, but most of the new music we've created in the last year has been uploaded to the FB site for your listening pleasure.  We have no plans to take down the Myspace, Facebook or official KL5 homepage, so if'n you need that fix you can come back and reminisce all you like!  Look for possible updates to what the former members will be doing, as we'll always be a band at heart and we'll do our best to let the world know what we're doing!
