For the record, I still hate it with a fiery passion - but that fire is cooled somewhat by the new 2.0 layouts (switch them on NOW - and choose something really plain PLEASE). You can customise it with a banner, as I have using this little code generator.

It's made all the more tolerable when you view it using Firefox with the AdBlock Plus plugin activated, which removes some of the most offensive and aesthetically catastrophic advertising on the site.

And while the day never quite came when we all ditched MySpace for something else (though I'm still hopeful) - if you're using this site as a place to showcase your band's music - you can now do WAY better.

Get your music on Bandcamp immediately - and start sending your fans there. You'll figure out why once you take a look.
