Nervous Gender announce -
MUSIC FROM HELL (Remixed / Remastered) Limited Edition CD

Limited to 250 hand numbered copies
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Mixed and remastered by Jellowaste and Nervous Gender in 2009 working from the original raw reel-to-reel master tapes. Care has been taken to recover the low end lost in the original mastering to vinyl. The high end cringe factor has been corrected as well.

In three parts:

Part one: "Martyr Complex." Nervous Gender's Synth-punk songs: Monsters, Nothing to Hide, Alien Point of View, Fat Cow, Cardinal Newman, People Like You, Regress For You.

Part two: "Beelzabub Youth" Excepts From Nervous Gender's anti-Christian opera "A  Homily on the banality of spiritual transcendence" that was performed at The Traction Gallery in Los Angeles in 1980. These tracks abandon the formal song structure for rythmic tape loops, droning synths and shrieking Blasphemy, earning them the title of "One of L.A.'s leading proponents of a genre aptly dubbed the Gloom Bloom"

Part three: Includes Bonus tracks of demos that were to have formed the basis of the record, but were lost on the way to the studio by a band member, now recovered from the back of a closet. Jellowaste has added an additional neurotic cut-up Dance remix of Alice's Song.

17 tracks.
$17.00 postage paid for US residents
$20.00 postage paid all others worldwide

As apparently it did on the "Live at the Roxy" recordings. Pity.
