Wow! Some time has past since I've last written. Now I have the overwhelming task of filling you in on all that has happened since May. Here we go!

Well, more songs have come. It has been a slow, painful process but I am pretty happy with my first batch of originals. You can hear The Bay, Cowboy Song and Shine here on my myspace page. There are a few more to be heard on Hotel Utah's website as well.

In August I had my first show!!! YEAH!! I was the featured performer at Hotel Utah's Open Mic Night. It was such an amazing experience for me. It was one of the more challenging things that I have ever done, but so rewarding. My friends and family were in town to support me. the Hotel Utah crowd helped me get through it and in the end I think I did ok. To top it off...I had a damn good time doing it! Thank you everyone!!!

After that feature I was asked to play a few more shows here in the city which was so flattering. I hope to keep playing out so if you have any spots open on your bill or you know any good venues that would be interested in hosting a girl like me, let me know!

I have also put together a band, well part of a band. It is a collaborative project and the end result has been pretty high quality. My band is going to play with me at Hotel Utah this Wednesday for Beer Drinking Acoustic Night. Come on out and see what we have come up with! What we haven't come up with is a band name. Curse it! Deciding a band name might be harder than writing songs. Anyway, soon we will be looking for a drummer, maybe keys, or violin....the possibilities are endless really. Then, maybe in December we will start recording what we have so far.

Well that's the gist of it. I have been very busy and very happy about that. Hooray for music!!
