Current mood: cooky/wacky
San Francisco, the home of Rice-A-Roni!(lol) We had the day off, so we split up, did our own stuff and enjoyed the city... Later, Jordan, Art and I met up for dinner. Art lived here for years so he definitely knows his way around!!! We decided on Korean barbeque but the restaurant didn't have anyone in it so we passed. The great thing about San Francisco is that, there's so many places to eat that we found a place right down the street. It wasn't Korean barbeque but a Mediterranean place. The waiter and the food was kicking! SO GOOD! After, we headed back to the hotel but Art and Jordan headed to the bus for some dessert. The next day, I was up early, as usual and worked out. Art, Johnny and I headed over to Haight Asbury later that afternoon to get some food and hit Amoeba Records, one of the best places to buy music, ever! I was lucky enough to get out of there for only $40.00 bucks and Art, $10.00, which is pretty amazing. Soundcheck was great. The Independent is truly a great rock club. The night started out with Sasha's band, "The February Fifths" opening up and just KILLING it! You have to check them out. Clayton and his band was great as always... It was really a great show, people singing their butts off and just having a great time!!! The highlight for Art and myself was when he dedicated "Santa Monica" to Daisy's brother, Jared, who had just died. It was a really moving moment and after talking to them after the the show, it really meant a lot to them as Everclear was his absolute favorite band. On a less heavy note, it was great to meet Sasha's Mom and Dad, Claude and Sandy and Jordan's friends too!!! Thanks to everyone at The Independent and everyone who came to the show... See ya soon!!!
