Not a lot of riffs in this song, but it doesn't take a lot to make an entertaining song. Arrangement and structure are just as important as the riff. Also changing the drum pattern over a riff can add some life and prevent monotony. Just my opinions, of course. I always hear a lot about how to play guitar or how to shred, but not a lot about how to write a song.
