Let me start by saying that when asking someone to be part of a project, I completely understand if you have to pray about it and see what Yahweh tells you to do. We are supposed to seek righteous counsil!! But I have a couple of things that bother....no...get me upset.....no....that really tick me off.
One is when I come to a DJ or an artist, and ask them to be on a project and they tell me that they have to pray about it, then 3 weeks later I come to you again about it and you don't have a answer, and I come to you again a month later and Yahweh still hasn't told you anything.........comeon!!! James 5:12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation. (Let your Yes be Yes and your No be No!!!)
Two is when you ask someone to be on it and they say yes. I check up on ya 3 weeks later (I know how it is to forget), and they still down. Then it gets close to track deadline time and I keep sending you messages and you won't reply back to me. Matthew 5:37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil. (Let your Yes be Yes and your No be No!!!)
Third is when I send someone a letter asking them to be on the mixtape and they open it and read it and never reply, or later say they didn't get it. Um......hello....there is a button called sent that you can click and see if your message has been read or not. Just say no if you don't want to be on it. Your not obligated to be on anything, but you shouldn't have someone wondering if your going to hit them back or not!!
The funniest one is when I send a letter asking the artist to be on it and it goes through the same process as my second problem. Then after we release it, they contact me and apologize and give their situation. OK...understandable, but then they say let me know when you doing your next project and I'm definitley on it. Then I reply I'm actually doing one now. Then you don't hear from them again...lol..lol.
Sometimes dealing with believers is harder than when we used to deal with unsaved kats. I just had to vent a little. If you think that you fall in one of these catogories and it sounds like you.....well....it probably is....hahahaha.
