The Butcher

It started with a scream
Over accusations and dreams
Wants compliance for all he gave
Yet her soul she had to save
There's nothing left to care
But it's all about who cut his hair
Closed his heart and slammed the door
Nothing left except the blood he tore

Look out here comes the butcher
Killing himself from within
Claimed all he did was love her
But she won't die again

Now he's lost and looking for clues
See's her blood point to the truth
With no word he climbs the walls
Spies the ledge and dreams to fall
Had his moment but he let it fade
Now she knows the game that he played
Every word believed was a lie
Now the only true word is goodbye

Hiding behind the friend
Just for a chance to see her
But she won't die again

You call yourself a man
What I've seen that up for debate
That's no way for a man to act
Fueled by jealousy, harm and hate
