PEZ TO RELEASE ‘SPECIAL EDITION’ OF HIS DEBUT ALBUM,

HIT THE ROAD WITH BLISS N ESO

After taking the local music scene by storm with a #1 independent single, a #7 placing in 2009’s Triple J Hottest 100 countdown, an album that has spent more than 30 weeks in the ARIA charts, and two hugely popular national tours in just six months, you’d be forgiven for thinking that rising Aussie hip-hop talent PEZ would be just about ready to put his feet up and relax following a massive debut year.

Not one to rest on his laurels, however, PEZ is back this weekend with the release of the Special Edition of his debut album A Mind Of My Own, as well as the first dates of a national tour with Aussie hip-hop standard-bearers Bliss N Eso.

A Mind Of My Own (Special Edition) – available in stores and online this Saturday, 6th June – attempts a rare feat: to improve on an already great album and make it an exceptional album.

As well as the original 14 classic PEZ tracks, including radio smash ‘The Festival Song’ and indie hit ‘Ain’t Got Time’, A Mind Of My Own (Special Edition) features:

· Brand new single ‘These Days 2009’, a re-worked version of the original ‘These Days’ featuring live instrumentation and brand new vocals from PEZ and Hailey Cramer

· Upcoming single ‘Ain’t Got Time (Automatik Remix)’, featuring a stomping new electro beat, brand new verses from PEZ & Triple J favourite Seth Sentry (‘The Waitress Song’), and vocals & instrumentation by indie-dance darlings Dukes Of Windsor (‘The Others’)

· A mini-documentary about the making of ‘These Days 2009’, featuring all-new studio footage and interviews with Pez, producer Matik, singer Hailey Cramer & more

· ‘The Festival Song’ music video, shot on location at Phillip Island, Victoria

· Remixed cover art by Jeremy Koren
