I took Scrappy to the vet this past week for her annual check-up and shots...she REALLY doesn't like the vet (who does?).  Her eyes get big and round and she gets very still and low to the ground...almost like she's actually trying to disappear - blend in.  It's so pitiful to see.  She is a very good patient, though.

She's recently been chasing me around the house following my shadow.  It's provided us with hours of amusement.  This morning we were playing "Hide & Go Seek"...I know that sounds silly, but we really do.  I always try to surprise her and leap out from behind a doorway - when I'm successful, she usually will jump about 3 inches straight up in the air and then take off running.  It's hysterical.  Although, it's very sad when she outsmarts me, and then I jump up and laugh at the two of us.

Well, I'm off to enjoy this beautiful Fall morning and get out into the sunshine.
