We were all deeply shocked recently to learn the sad news that our former drummer,  founder member of the band and friend Steve Downs had passed away. Steve tragically died in a diving accident in Scotland on the 29th April. He was only 38 and it is a truly terrible loss for all who knew him.

You would be hard pushed to meet a nicer and more genuine guy than Steve. We were together in the band for 2 years and he was a major part of the bands history playing drums on our first 2 albums and gigging with us at various venues across the country. We have so many fond memories of our time with Steve and we have already spent sometime looking back and smiling about his antics just as he would have wanted.

In recent years our lives had inevitably drifted apart but we still kept in touch and we last saw Steve when he came to one of our Leeds gigs last year. As usual he greeted us all with his customary smile, big hugs and a "hey up". He seemed on top form and that's how we will always remember him.

We wish his partner Val and all his family our deepest sympathies at this dreadful time. As a mark of respect and having spoken to his family at his funeral, we will dedicate our next album to his memory and we hope we do him justice.
