I returned home last Friday night from a great Family vacation in various parts of Florida. It was nice to be back on familiar groud, As I used to live in St. Pete - 3 different times actually, from 1988-1991. In the middle of this, was my drum clinic @ Seminole Music, which to my surprise was packed. As this was my 1st ever clinic, sure I was a tad nervous for the 1st few minutes or so - Once I started playing it was business as usual though, and I enjoyed myself. It wasent easy to try to keep those in attendance entertained for 2 hours, but I believe I faired pretty well. There were a few thing's that I wanted to improve on for future clinic's (mainly sound related things) so I talked to a few friends of mine who have done countless clinics, to possibly get insight from them. They both helped me out quite a bit, so a quick shout out to Mike and Ray - thank's guys!!
Lots of cool thing's coming up in the land of Megadeth, so keep your eyes peeled on that.
be well, shawn.
