Hey everyone!

I actually was thinking of starting up a travel cookbook. Ideas for healthy food that you can make and travels well. I'll also be adding photos from the road and some stories.

My question was if anyone would be interested in purchasing this. It's not avaliable right away and it's something I'm working on if for nothing else to help out my traveling wrestling buds.

Thanks for your input!

Excellent idea! I think it would go over real well. I was in New Mexico last week and was looking for health food everywhere. Unfortunately, I didn't find much. Let me know if you make this happen.

If you can find a publisher id say y ou could actually make some money off of this but im sure your not in it soley for the money. If active people not just those in the buisness see this they will think damn if this gourgeous woman can eat healthy on the road why cant I. Wrestling fans will buy it just for the pics of you and Road Stories cause we all know what craziness gos on with you guys on the road. Its a great ideal Nikki.

Good idea. You could market it to road bands too. It would have to be better than drive thru and gas station food. If things are like the way they were when I was out there, a lot of bands must be cooking in their rooms now and could easily prepare your recipes the day before leaving for the next town.

A travel cookbook for healthy food would be a great idea for the general market nowadays simply for the reason that the whole health food market is somewhat big. It should make some decent money.

not for myself, but I'm sure my wife would be interested she's always looking for different diets and/or Ideas for healthier living and I think it would come across alot more authentic coming from someone like a pro wrestler who has to live that life style 24/7 all year long

Hi Roxxi,

I think that would be a very good idea, Iknow on the road it is kind of hard to eat right. It is like you just don't have time.

Oh btw-imho your look great with your hair the way it is.

I think it would be a brilliant idea Roxxi....especially if it included various simply vegeterian meals that people could make (you'd be surprised how difficult it is to figure out some simple & vegeterian :P). With how people love to move around....it would be a truly fabulous idea.
Peace & love!

It would be a mix of vegetarian and some meat dishes. When I was competing I ate meat but now I'm vegetarian. I have lots of quick and different recipes.
I get bored quick!

I think thats an awesome idea! And it'd be great for not only wrestlers but people into fitness and people who travel a lot.
So I definitely think think you should give it a shot! I'd buy it!

One question though, what would the book feature? Would it be places to eat or certain foods at certain restaurants or anything like that?

It would be stuff you could make at home and travels well.
Some are quick recipes and others are for foods you can just leave in the fridge at a hotel or in a travel cooler

I really think that a healthy food cook book is a surefire great idea. With some of the food the has recently came out in some take out places that in my opinion have become less than healthy. It would help people greatly that are on the road often and it could keep longer shelf life.

It would be a great twist in the heavily-populated cookbook spectrum, people are always looking for something new, so a cookbook with your hook could stand out.

If you ever put your plan into action, stick with small, independent publishers, less of a chance getting lost in the crowd.

Cheers.
