So, the first blog I type.

First off, even though it's a cool idea to be connected with others online, I don't see the big deal. It's cool to have friends in other parts of the country, but does anyone ever meet up with each other. I've had several meetups with other online people in the past and I can say it's a mixed blessing. Who knew that someone who has much in common with you could be so different. I've clicked with some, didn't agree with others. There has been meetups that I've attended and met some "colorful characters." I have made friends, and met people who I would probably never hang out with. I've also met some strange persons at meetups who just weirded me out. It's true that everyone is unique, but some are more unique than others. Does that make meetups a bad thing? I do not think so. I've meet some great people and think there is something to this internet thing. But there is nothing wrong with the old fashoned way of meeting people in real life. I used to be better at making friends online than in person. I've had trouble breaking the ice. Now I find that it's the other way around. I've lost my net ettiquete and become better at socializing in person. Is that a good thing? Who knows.

In more recent news, I have a projector for two weeks and it is really awesome. It's illuminating a 60" screen on my white wall. Imagine playing Grand theft Auto or watching UFC on that. Nice.
