So I was browsing Future Producers.com today and ran across something VERY interesting. As you may know, we had the exclusive world premier of the CDQ version of G Malone's Haterz. At the time we reported the track was produced by up and coming producer FOC. It appears some shadyness MAY have gone on behind the scenes and the track was really produced by somebody named Mev the Producer out of Florida.

Check out this Youtube video Mev put out. I've gotta say, I wasn't really convinced by the sounds in the video but I know Jack and Shit about producing. Mev is claiming that G Malone and Universal both confirmed Mev's story, so I guess we'll see. To tell you the truth, I don't really care who produced it, its still a great track. I just hope this little incident doesn't take away from the shine this track truly deserves.

"I personally spoke with Glasses Malone and he was really cool about the whole situation. much love and respect to him. My lawyer, Glasses, and his lawyer all conferred and have come the conclusion that I am the actual producer of the track despite much confusion in the past few days. I was able to fully prove that I did in fact make the beat. I was told that i will be receiving full credits for the song on the album as it is released. So there you have it. I'm glad this whole situation has been resolved and the right people will be getting credit for their work. Now Glasses can get back to making the Beach Cruiser a success!

I've gotta say, I checked out Mev's beatshop page and he's got quite a few nice tracks. Up and coming artists should def get at him!
