Once saved... always saved?
I feel led to bring clarity to this FALSE DOCTRINE through the Word of God, the Holy Bible. This is not my opinion it is Biblical truth. You can look up these scriptures yourself. Scripture references are provided. God bless.
"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves." Matthew 7:15
This is referring to many that use Jesus' name and preach the gospel and at first seem like good people but they twist the message which will ultimately lead to your destruction. There are many voices out there speaking about God, but always pray for guidance because many of those voices are not from God. They are lies from the gates of hell.
"Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. " Romans 6:11
That scripture is pretty straight forward... we should be dead unto sin.
"Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. " Galatians 5:19-21
This was written by the Apostle Paul to the BELIEVERS... These people were "saved" and if they are fulfiling the lusts of the flesh THEY WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD. Just Galatians chapter 5 blows the once saved always saved false doctrine right out of the water.
"And you will be hated by all for My name's sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved." Mark 13:13
Jesus said whoever is faithful to the end is saved. Not someone who says "I believe" and nothing in their life shows that they believe. If we believe we should follow Him and His teachings.
"Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you." 2 Corinthians 6:17
We must separate ourselves from the world. Not say "I BELIEVE" and go back to our sinful lives.
"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it." Matthew 7:13-14
Destruction meaning Hell and Life meaning Heaven. Think about it. Are you on the narrow path? Or are you following the crowd to hell?
"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!" Matthew 7:21-23
Jesus Christ spoke these words. He said straight up many will call on His name saying that they cast out devils in His name and did all kinds of good deeds. He's gonna tell them I NEVER KNEW YOU. Only those that do the will or the Father get into Heaven. I mean think about it. How can we work against the Kingdom of God and expect to get in. Who you serve is where you go.
"Then He said to them all, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me." Luke 9:23
This scripture is Jesus saying to His disciples that if anyone wants to follow Him they have to deny themselves, die daily (crucify/mortify/deny the flesh) and follow His teachings.
"And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires." Galatians 5:24
Die daily... do not give in to the flesh.
"For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live." Romans 8:13
If we live for the flesh we go to hell but if we die to ourselves through the help of the Holy Spirit we get to go home to Heaven.
"Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry." Colossians 3:5
DIE TO YOURSELF... DO NOT GIVE IN TO THE FLESH!!!
"I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish." Galatians 5:16-17
Pray to the Father to fill you with the Holy Spirit and then you will be able to resist the flesh. We cannot do this by ourselves. It is impossible. We need God's help. HE WILL HELP US. Just ask.
"If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!" Luke 11:11-13
We are saved by grace through faith. It is a gift from God. Satan is trying to keep us away from the truth so we won't be in relationship with God to receive the gift. Satan has most of this world fooled into believing that money, sex, drugs, alcohol, cars, materialism, false religion, a husband or wife or whatever it may be will make you happy. But you and I both know that it is a false happiness, a false comfort. It doesn't last. It's like we have a huge hole in us and we try to fill it with everything of the world and nothing in this world is big enough to fill it. That hole was made for Jesus to fill and fulfill us. Look around, most people are miserable just putting on a happy show. They can be rich or poor it doesn't matter. Try catch a glimpse of them when they think nobody is looking. That smile is gone, you see pain. I noticed about a year ago the only truly happy people live for JESUS. And I asked God for that joy that they had. Guess what? He gave it to me. Praise GOD!!!! Hallelujah!!!! And I stay up late night to type these things because I found the treasure and you can too. The Kingdom of God. If you knew what I have been blessed to find out, you would be running away from the world as fast as you can heading straight to Jesus. I just pray that you will allow our loving God to love on you and fill you with His love, joy, peace and so much more. I couldn't imagine living anymore without that supernatural love. (quick prayer time)
Father God, I come to you in the name of Jesus and ask for forgiveness of anything I could have said, done or thought that would displease you in any way. I believe Jesus is Lord and that He died for my sins and rose from the dead in the flesh on the third day. Father, please fill me with the Holy Spirit and help me to live a life pleasing to you. Jesus please come into my heart and be Lord of my life. Lead me where you want me to go. Thank you Lord. Amen.
