all things must end.

It's been a while since we've communicated any news. we went on a hiatus in late october of last year, hoping to attend to our lives in a way that we've neglected for about five years or so.

living around being in a band has been a great experience; one we'll never regret. logging countless thousands of miles in our van, completing two full-length albums, playing with some of our favorite musicians, sleeping on floors all across the country, & meeting many inspiring people along the way.

we regrouped earlier this year and started writing new material, but eventually realized we couldn't continue to do the band at the same capacity we've kept up for so long. touring on a total d.i.y. basis gets tougher; we have huge respect for bands that roll the dice to get out there.

in the same respect, we'd made a pact early on to never do this at half capacity. we promised that if things started to drag, we'd end it. we had to make good on that promise, so on a friday night in late may, we formally ended the band. in the same pub where we started it some six-and-a-half years earlier. two booths away.

we've become lifelong friends through the years, spending the best times of our lives doing what we love. thanks to everyone that ever came to a show, bought us a drink, let us crash on your floor, and extended us your hearts.

we're going to try to arrange a couple farewell shows in late summer to show our thanks & say goodbye in true form. hopefully we'll be able to pull off some old tunes we haven't played in a while.
