I would like to thank you all for visiting my site and posting your comments.  It’s a great feeling to know you really care.  However, lately, there have been some disturbing comments posted online.  It seems that due to the nature of my business, like all other entertainers, there are those kinds of people that have nothing better to do than post degrading remarks on Google, Myspace, Facebook, etc, stating hateful and wrong information about me and my family.  We all know that tabloids make millions doing this to entertainers all the time.  I hope that you will all consider the source of information that is posted by those kinds of individuals that want nothing more to do than destroy people's lives for no apparent reason.  I come from a very strong background family as you all may know and I value the goodness for mankind.  For all of you that care, you give me the fuel to continue making music for your enjoyment and for the few that try to destroy me and my family name; you also give me the fuel to prove otherwise to your useless congregation.....

I am asking you all that truly care to join together with me and help me stop those few who state bad remarks about me and my family, wife, children, etc.  Please report these ruthless comments by those mentioned and this could also help stop them from trying to destroy other families and other artists.....

On a sunshine note, we are going to have a great year and we have a lot of new things happening with our show and we are working on a new CD to be released by the end of the year, hopefully.....

I think people need to stop and understand that "The Van Zants" are human (which is what made us respect them and love them soooo much to begin with) and they will have good days and bad days just like the rest of us.
And for the Jealous people out there who feel they need to bad mouth "The Van Zants" you need to focus on cleaning up your own backyards first !

So sorry that people talk about you and your family.  this my dear friend has always brought me stumbling to my knees.  It is hurtful and it tends to make you want to take matters into your own hands.  The thing is that I have learned is to pray for these people, though it is very hard at times for me to do, I humble myself before the Lord and pray for them.  He brings me peace in doing so and believe it or not, in his time, God takes mighty vengenance into his own hand.  You have a message in your songs.  i have listened to your music since I was knee high.  My Uncle's name was Leonard and he used to tell me that my grandmother named him after ya'lls group.  i miss him soo much but I carry his spirit with my spirit just as you do your brother that passed.  They are always with us, wathcing over us, along with those stong praying mama's and grandmothers.  Take care my dear friend.  Although we have never met, know that your music has brought me much joy and helped me to deal in some really rough times in life.  God bless my brother.  Live to Ride - Ride to live.

So true Jimmie!  People like that have nothing better to do than get on the computer and bash people, DON'T NEED TO HAVE A COMPUTER!!!!!    As you said, it comes along w/the entertainment business.  But just to let you and yours know normal people like us don't believe it anyway.  Most of us know who those no gooders   are!!!
