Tonight, We went out to the Nashville Palace. They were having a benefit for my dear friend Mel McDaniel. I am glad to report that Mel is at home and doing a lot better and going thru rehabilitation. We are still praying for Mel and his dear family!
This was a night of Country Music Heaven. We laughed and talked with Nancy Jones who is always a beautiful lady. Mel Tillis, my friend it was great to laugh and talk with you! Little Jimmy Dickens, Jimmy C. Newman, John Conlee, Jean Shephard, Jeannie Seely, Ricky Skaggs and The Whites....What great music and just the laughter and the stories reminds me of what a close family Country Music really is but now to the highlight of the night!
Tommy Cash and his lovely wife Marcy were there and Tommy and Bob went on stage together to do Ring of Fire. It was awesome! Bob and Tommy rocked the house!  It was great music for a great cause.
This is what makes Country Music so very special.  It truly is one big family!

Hey Bob,
Yes it WAS a great night!  Got to see a bunch of old friends that I hadn't seen in ages!  Saw you onstage, but didn't get a chance to say Hi, I was being pulled in all directions!  :-)  That place was PACKED to the rafters, standing room only!  What a great turnout!  Had a nice chat with Tommy Cash, as well as a bunch of the other artists.  I finally left shortly after 11pm and it was still going on!

I was thrilled to play with Bob Wooten. He is one of the great guitar players in the world. He made my brother Johnny Cash sound great for thirty years. It was good to see Bob's daughter Scarlet. Marcy and I had a great time seeing our Country Music friends and being there for such a great cause.

Best Wishes,
TC
