Steve
Balbi is an accomplished singer, songwriter and performer with a
long-standing reputation in the Australian music scene. He is perhaps
best known for his role in beloved 80's rock act Noiseworks. When
Noiseworks went on hiatus, he and Justin Stanley formed the Electric
Hippies, which Steve described as "everything that the music industry
wasn't". Steve was also the voice behind Ewan McGregor, and David
Bowie's vocal double, in Moulin Rouge. Steve's current ensemble act,
Move Trees, is rapidly gaining popularity around the country due to
their powerful and inspiring live performances.
