this collaboration thing i've mentioned a little....in early January I'm off to a studio in North Wales to complete a collaboration album The Big Eyes Family Players have been working on with an immensely talented good friend of ours, Mr James Yorkston. It will be a collection of old folk numbers, only put through the Big Eyes/Yorkston blender and features a number of the usual Big Eyes suspects, plus hopefully Nancy Elizabeth too...I'm pretty exciting about this project. It has certainly been different, working on a 'vocal' album, but a lot of fun, and i have learned a fair few new folk songs!
