Current mood: energetic Category: Jobs, Work, Careers
As I sit at home on this sunny day writing this blog post, I can't help but think about how grateful I am for everything I have in my life.
My kids are at home with me and have never been to daycare or to a childcare centre.
I do love being able to stay home with my children and watch them grow into their own little people every day. At times it can be a challenge to balance the time spent between work and home but I love what I do.
I love what freedom it gives me and the wonderful connections and friendships I have made along the way.
An average day for me is busy but fun. After getting up when my baby wakes, we play and enjoy a little bit of quiet time together. After the whole house is awake, we enjoy breakfast together and then the day begins. On average I spend an hour in the morning on the computer networking, marketing and communicating with my team.
Then after a couple of hours outside and at the park, we have lunch and the children watch a movie. At that time I do my laundry and other daily tasks. When the young ones are quiet and settled for the afternoon, I spend another hour on the computer.
It's a pretty similar story and the evening meal.
I get to spend more time playing with my kids than I do on the computer! : )
Before I became a full time stay at home mum and business owner, I was a full time Human Resources Manager. Thinking back now to where my life was a couple of years ago, I would never have thought I'd be running an online business! I was an internet shopper and that was about it.
If you want to find out more about my online business and the systems I am using to earn and learn
