There is indeed change in the U.S. and it is not exactly the change that some might be expecting.  Any one who has a semblance of intelligence with them understands that this past election has been one sided towards the Democrats with media coverage.  Especially for Barack Obama being the first African American President of the United States.

When anyone tried to challenge reports for proper VETTING to take place they were shunned or the stories were dismissed.   Even to the extent of the “RACE CARD“ being used. If you said anything against now President Obama, you were called a Racist.  They are trying that same "RACE CARD" strategy now but it is losing it's validity.  We all know it. We all saw it.  We all witnessed it. Now we are all living through it.

However, the Independents who hold the power of any election (because they can swing either way) are now seeing that what they were led to believe and vote for is not the truth.

This has begun a major "shift" in power with media trust.  The prime time news anchors of CBS, NBC and ABC are not looked at as being fair in their reporting any longer.   In fact the Cable news stations are not looked at as being fair in their reporting.

The only news station that shows accurate and balanced ratings is Fox News.

They have the balance of power switched to them now in even prime time.

http://tvbythenumbers.com/2009/08/18/cable-news-ratings-for-monday-august-17-2009/25011

What does this mean?

This means that with POWER comes the RESPONSIBILITY of TRUST.  How powerful is Fox News?

They beat MSNBC and CNN COMBINED.   Fox News beats them COMBINED. As well as gaining more and more viewers during prime time over CBS, NBC and ABC.

Think about that…  Fox News is now the number one news source over all stations in America.

How Powerful is Fox News in their reporting?

They are Powerful enough to force Policy Change in the United States Congress.   Fox News was the only station challenging ACORN from the beginning.  They were also the only station that did a major carry of the ACORN Story of Illegal Tax manipulation with trafficking Prostitutes.

CLICK HERE FOR ALL THE ACORN VIDEOS ON CHILD PROSTITUTION & TAX EVASION WITH GOVERNMENT FUNDED MONEY  -- YOUR TAX DOLLARS

What were the RESULTS?    Congress STOPPED all funding to ACORN and they are under criminal investigation.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/09/17/house-votes-strip-acorn-federal-funding/

http://www.politicsdaily.com/2009/09/15/u-s-senate-swiftly-blocks-acorn-funding/

That is not good news for Obama.  Obama needs those ACORN dead people to vote, he needs those Walt Disney Characters.  He needs those out of town votes and all the other fabricated ones to win another election and now with ACORN not having the power and funding he promised.  He and his cronies are in deep trouble.

Criminal Investigation called for ACORN

ACORN is DEAD!  GONE!  They have no more power.  It is over for them!  They will not receive anymore of your tax payer money to steal for illegal activity.

Thanks only to Fox News for being Fair and Balanced with their vast ratings in America.

Democrats and Liberals don't like this.

Anyone who tries to defend the actions of ACORN is a FAR LEFT LIBERAL of the worst kind and an enemy to the true freedoms and liberties in the United States.

Let's also not forget how much influence Glenn Beck has.

GLENN BECK gets the medal of honor from the Democrats to have tax payer money wasted on a video.

When was the last time you heard of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) making a commercial based on a TV or Radio personality?

Like the Government does not waste enough of our tax money already?

Then we have the LIBERAL TIME Magazine paying homage to Glenn Beck as well:

Glenn on Time Magazine's Cover
- Mad Man: Is Glenn Beck Bad for America?

You know you must be doing something right when the Liberal TIME Magazine puts you on their front page.

Oh, let's not forget about Van Jones - Obama appoints this man as one of his Czars and he is as racist and communist to the core:

WHERE ARE THE WATCH DOGS??

Van Jones Resigns

Now we have a situation where people who never lobbied, assembled in protest or spoke out against their Government are becoming more and more active through Tea Party Protests!

A man holds a sign that reads Free Enterprise Capitalism Yes Socialism No, during a march and demonstration held by thousands of people to protest health care reform proposed by US President Barack Obama in Washington DC, USA, 12 September 2009. Organized by a conservative group called the Tea Party Patriots, the demonstration began at Freedom Plaza and ended at the US Capitol Hill. EPA/MICHAEL REYNOLDS

Why?

Because they are FREE and want to stay FREE!

I am not an advocate of ANY pictures advocating harm.  Especially threats!  I do not support it and anyone who does; you do not represent my views or the views of Americans who oppose this administrations' polices.

However, I am a STRONG ADVOCATE of the First Amendment Rights to assemble and speak out against the policies you disagree with toward the Government.  Especially the Socialists we have in office under this current admin.  Their policies are not policies that I agree with and I personally cannot wait until the Mid-Term election for Congress and the next Presidential Election.

This country needs much better leadership than what we have now.

As far as Fox News is concerned, Obama is doing all the major Sunday talk shows to try and yet again, further sell his Health Care Plan. But guess what?  He is too afraid to go on Fox News.

Why?  Because he might be asked some real questions instead of the liberal pandering.

Millions x Millions are watching.

Is this Change?  Perhaps it is, but not what many may have been expecting.

Doc on the video with the kids have you noticed the first chant's wording has.

Red and yellow, black and white they are equal in his sight. Barrack Hussein Obama

Compare to

Red and yellow, black and white they are precious in his sight. Jesus loved the little children of the world.

The second set to the tune of the Battle Hymn of the Republic and combined send a message to these kids that it is patriotic to worship Obama as if he were Jesus Christ. It's not just words but assimilation two key ingredients for brainwashing.

I will not condone, support, or allow these types of actions.

You are correct!! America has Finally woken up (well, most of us).  We know the lies that were told leading to untold deaths of our children and others.  We know the all the deregulation that led to most of the financial problems we have.  We are aware that racism is alive and well in this country.  We are aware that most conservatives these days are FUCKING CRAZY and have no clue what they're talking about most of the time.  We are aware that you are an ignorant zealot with poor punctuation, and now we know what a blog-dicker i am.  oh boy, oh boy.  As for Fox being No. 1 - those stats, like your blog, is misleading.  See, we libs don't all watch the same channel.  Some of us don't watch msnbc at all (and CNN, btw, is Not a liberal station). Some of us prefer to our information from multiple sources, unlike you Lemmings - we seek Facts and think for ourselves.  And in that vane, if Time is publishing an article on our country's douche-of-the-month, i guess your "liberal media" argument won't hold up anymore than the rest of them do.  Whaaa..... of course, I am also alware that you will probably delete my comment, like any good nazi - oops - conservative - would.  boo hoo.

Hospitals employ social workers (required by law) to assist people with serious illness access all public and private programs. Aside from Medicare which can be acquired if you are permanently disabled, there is Medi-caid programs provided by the state. Hospitals also have indigent individual programs which operate on sliding scales based on ability to pay.

The federal-state Medicaid program may cover organ transplants if a state elects  to offer this optional coverage. States may determine the scope of such coverage. There are fourteen states that don't offer heart or liver transplants through Medicaid coverage. Those are:

Alabama
Alaska
Hawaii
Idaho
Kansas
Mississippi
Montana
Nebraska
New Hampshire
North Carolina
South Carolina
South Dakota
Virginia

Harvard Medical Study Links Lack of Insurance to 45,000 U.S. Deaths a Year

By Reed Abelson

As the White House and Congress continue debating how best to provide coverage to tens of millions of Americans currently without health insurance, a new study (PDF) is meant to offer a stark reminder of why lawmakers should continue to try. Researchers from Harvard Medical School say the lack of coverage can be tied to about 45,000 deaths a year in the United States — a toll that is greater than the number of people who die each year from kidney disease.

Who in those studies died from non preventative actions?  Are they people that were refused medical treatment and left to die?  Or are the people that had AIDS, non curable Cancer etc?

What are the dynamics of the study?

There is no “reply” link under your post, so I will post here.  The link to the rest of the article is in my last posting.  In part it says:

The research is being published in the December issue of the American Journal of Public Health and was posted online Thursday.  (You would have to go and see this publication to read the entire study)

The Harvard study found that people without health insurance had a 40 percent higher risk of death than those with private health insurance — as a result of being unable to obtain necessary medical care. The risk appears to have increased since 1993, when a similar study found the risk of death was 25 percent greater for the uninsured.

The increase in risk, according to the study, is likely to be a result of at least two factors. One is the greater difficulty the uninsured have today in finding care, as public hospitals have closed or cut back on services. The other is improvements in medical care for insured people with treatable chronic conditions like high blood pressure.
“As health care for the insured gets better, the gap between the insured and uninsured widens,” Dr. Woolhandler said.

hey liberal idiot you guys as usual are looking in the wrong place in this health care matter.  The high cost of health care is nothing more than greed just like walstreet and our present government.  The insurance companies are sticking it to us and we can do nothing about it there is no competitive edge.  Why should it cost me 50-100$ to see a Dr who spends 5-15 minuets at the most with me.  And why should a hospital room cost me $1600 and up a night and that is just the cost of the room.  Why should they charge me $200 for a nose piece to help me breath O2 and it is nothing more than a 8ft rubber hose I'll tell you why it is greed and now you greedy liberal idiots want to get in on the pot all just to take more out of my paycheck. I have an example I have a friend of mine that has insurance and he had a stint put in his heart cost his insurance $30,000 bucks and I have another friend who is a retired  patrolman but not old enough to get medicare he had a tripple by pass they charged him $45,000 untill they relized he had no insurance and they dropped it to $22,000 he payed on that for several months and then the hospital sent him a letter and told him if he could come up with $3,000 they would call it paid in full. WAKE UP.

(d)            Underserved Population Groups.  Adult or pediatric open heart surgery shall be available to all persons in need.  A patient's eligibility for open heart surgery shall be independent of his or her ability to pay.  Applicants for adult or pediatric open heart surgery programs shall document the manner in which they will meet this requirement.  Adult open heart surgery shall be available in each district to Medicare, Medicaid, and indigent patients.  Pediatric open and closed heart surgery shall be available in each pediatric open heart surgery program service area.

Each state is different; this is Florida's policy. It's important not to try and mislead people, Mr. Clinton.

I won't waste time insulting you for not knowing the answer to that question. The answer is really quite simple. The government will have a certain amount "set aside" to pay for health care, just like the government has certain amounts set aside for anything and everything it does, departments, programs, etc., in a budget. That being said, decisions will have to be made to decide how, where, and when those funds are spent. You can't possibly believe that the government will have an infinite amount of money, we don't have, set aside for socialized medicine. The bigger questions I have to all the government run "health care" supporters is, how can you be willing to trust your government to run a "health care" program when it can't operate ANY program efficiently, or without fraud and corruption? How are WE going to pay for it? And, where exactly does it mention government "health care" in the Constitution?

Simple logic honey.  Put millions more on the public dole, while DECREASING compensation to doctors and nurses.  Make no provision to check whether people are here legally, and continue the open boarder policy.  All this will lead to cuts since it will cost way MORE than anyone DemoCrap is projecting.  You tell me this will not lead to cuts?  You are living in a dream Neo.  Doctors will leave their profession in droves when this ass sticks his nose in their compensation package.  Who the hell does he think he is?  He's behaving like Stalin.
Like I said, it is a waste explaining simple logic with a liberal.  None of you get it.  You just drag out your government stats that mean NOTHING.

It means exactly what it says.  Someone else decides your medical coverage instead of you and when you become a burden because you are too old, who is to say that your health needs will not be rationed for someone else?y

Do you have studies of people who are waitings lists in Socialist countries that provide health care?  Look at the studies of the pros and cons and then tell me why America has the number one health care system in the world?

You are aware that the American Health Care system is the best system, right?

We rank # 37 in health care.

The World Health Organization has carried out the first ever analysis of the world's health systems. Using five performance indicators to measure health systems in 191 member states, it finds that France provides the best overall health care followed among major countries by Italy, Spain, Oman, Austria and Japan.

The findings are published today, 21 June, in The World Health Report 2000 – Health systems: Improving performance*.

*Copies of the Report can be ordered from bookorders@who.ch.

The U.S. health system spends a higher portion of its gross domestic product than any other country but ranks 37 out of 191 countries according to its performance, the report finds. The United Kingdom, which spends just six percent of GDP on health services, ranks 18 th . Several small countries – San Marino, Andorra, Malta and Singapore are rated close behind second- placed Italy.

When you say, “Someone else decides your medical coverage instead of you and when you become a burden because you are too old, who is to say that your health needs will not be rationed for someone else?”, this is a theory, then? Not a fact?  Can you back this up with some evidence that it would be true?

I’m pretty sure that this new plan would make it easier for people like my dad who is 87 to afford his prescriptions.

I have friends in Canada who are pretty happy with their medical system.  And no one dies there for lack of medical care.

In my state, the governor, Pawlenty, wants to take away medical care for people who are on general assistance.  I work at a homeless shelter, and many of our residents suffer from severe mental illness.  If he takes this away and they cannot afford their mental health drugs, well, it’s going to further burden the police, courts, emergency rooms, etc.  and make it harder for them to function in any kind of housing.

A single payer plan is more cost effective than the one we have.

And i don't weigh the worth of human life in dollars.  I want everyone to have health care, not just those that can afford it.

I'm not too crazy about my tax money going to pay for these pointless wars that are doing nothing but killing our citizens, killing families overseas, sending our troops home with PTSD, and giving Iraqi children stress disorders.

I guess to me it is all about sensibility and compassion, not the almighty dollar.

The standard of living in those counties with universal health care is pretty good overall.
