Fat Joe Agrees To Cooperate With Police In Florida Murder Case

After a week of ducking cops, Bronx rapper Fat Joe has agreed to talk to Miami Beach police about a shooting that left two dead on Memorial Day. A teenage nephew originally told the Daily News that the rapper was in Russia when the killing happened, but his lawyer has since said that is not true. Cops believe Fat Joe was a witness to the shooting because others on the scene said he was in the car with the victims. The supersize entertainer, whose real name is Joe Cartagena, left for Russia after the shooting, his attorney Jeffrey Lichtman said. And in any case, he added, his client saw nothing.
