Scotty D Entertainment was founded by myself, Scott D. Opalewski (a.k.a. Scotty D) and I began entertaining audiences in 1987 at WFOS radio (Classical & Big Band format) in Chesapeake, Virginia. I was then selected to be a Guest DJ at WNVZ Radio (Contemporary Hit Radio format) in Virginia Beach, Virginia. From there I continued at WNIS radio (News & Talk) in Norfolk, Virginia, WGH Radio (Contemporary Hit Radio and Sports format) in Virginia Beach, Virginia, WTAR/WLTY Radio (Classic Standards and Oldies format) in Norfolk, Virginia. I was selected to host home games broadcasted on WTAR radio for the New York Mets AAA Affiliate Basebal team, the "TideWater Tides". In 1991 I ventured to California were I entertained audiences as a DJ at KUIC radio (Hot Adult Contemporary Format) in Vacaville, California and was also a featured DJ/Entertainer at Stuart Anderson's Black Angus Square Cow Fun Bar in Vallejo, California where all musical formats were played, as long as it was FUN and FUN TO DANCE TO!!! During the entire time as a radio DJ, Host, and Entertainer I also conducted numerous private and corporate events. Today the main focus of Scotty D Entertainment is to provide quality professional entertainment services for your Birthday, Wedding, Anniversary, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, La Quineanera, School Dance, Prom, Reunion, Company Event, or any other Special Event you can think of.
Clientele has ranged from private individuals, Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies, to the U.S. Air Force and beyond. Scotty D Entertainment events have been at many prestigious locations and country clubs.
