Nick and I knew that when we signed up to do a show on CMT that it would be a risk for us. We both grew up listening to country music and ended up playing in rock and blues bands in our early twenties. The show was risky because we knew that country fans are very particular about their music and we are not as "country" as some fans would like us to be. People look at us and automatically assume that we are not country at all, and that is just not true. We just get on stage and be ourselves. We just make our music and hope there is someone out there that connects with it. We are who we are... two guys making music and enjoying the ride!

To our fans who enjoy our music for what it is:

we LOVE you and feel so blessed to have your support. We are one big family and Nick and I hope to see all of you out on the road someday!

Spread a little hope today,

Jeremiah

Jeremiah, this is what you were born to do and I'm glad you are staying so positive! There are very few artists that are for everyone's tastes (from what I hear, there are even some people that don't like some of the biggest stars like, um, the Beatles...lol ;) )....You and Nick have a dynamic, unique chemistry with an incredible amount of talent and substance backing it up and I know that this is just the beginning...People will naturally be drawn to the two of you, so keep the faith up, as your fan base expands and grows!

You know...wouldn't worry about what genre you play...you are going to make it big, have no doubts. Just stay true to yourself and all the rest will fall into place. I am so impressed...I couldn't even tell you.

Just go for it. ;)

You both have amazing talent and both of you are incredibly sexy! Your sound is inspiring, touching, and it rocks! You can't please everyone all the time. In that type of business, there are going to be people who absolutely love your music and sound and there are going to be people who don't. I personally believe its how you handle yourself in that type of situation that counts. Both of you seem to be very confident and no matter what you just have to always be yourself!
I wish you both the very best! :)

Keep Smiling :) and Keep Rockin'!

Just wanted to let you know that, even though I apparently have the only cable company in the world that doesn't offer CMT, I make my mom DVR it for me and I check online every week to see how you did. I am so proud of you and I think you guys are doing a great job!

J ~

Adversity is a fact of life. Don't let the naysayers get ya'll down ~ instead THRIVE! Take their negativity (and ignorance! should I really say that? HA) and let it build ya'll up and show them what MUSIC, YOUR music, is about!

It's sad there's such a stereotype in all genre's of music ~ alternative singers should wear make-up and dress in black; hip-hop singers should wear the BLING; country singers should wear boots? Uh, do I need to mention Billy Ray Cyrus and his tennis shoes? HELLOOOOOOOO!!!!! Some people just can't stand change! To them I say....DEAL WITH IT!

Anywho....at the end of the day, ya'll SHOULD do it your way! I'm proud of you and Nick for NOT conforming to the typical country stereotype! Stay true to yourselves! Jeremiah, you know I loved your music from the first time I heard it and I'm loving you and Nick together!

Take care! Let me know when you're in town visiting! Would love to see ya!

Here's the thing......
Most of us are just like you! I listen to Rock...R&B....Jazz.....classical..oldies but goodies..AND country! So why wouldn't I expect you to dabble in all of that as a musician??
The comments made on the show last week by "Johnson and Oakleaf" about you guys being "fake" were just ridiculous to be honest. Who cares if you've played rock or blues...or whatever previously. Most musicians have played in whatever bands they could get into. And who cares if you don't know who Montgomery Gentry are, or if you don't know every country music band known to man..or even every rock or blues band! I'm sure the biggest stars ever would make mistakes like that too. It's silly to think that would mean you weren't genuine!
Both of my children play instruments and sing, and they love all types of music. Perhaps that's why you both appeal to a variety of fans and why you're gonna be HUGE someday!

I've been a fan for almost two years now, and I am a true fan because of who you are, and because i believe in your musical abilities...especially your pure voice...no matter what kind of music you're playing or singing..
Our family loves being a part of your family!
Much love!

I think any record company would be insane not to give you a deal, as you have everything it takes to be megastars. I wish you the best on the show and your careers!! Keep up the great work!!

For someone who knew you back when you were a lowly drum major in your high school band I thought that you guys were awsome. I'm not much of a country listener but I listen to what I like so don't conform to a mold be who you are and you will attract people that like you just as you are. You know that my little color guard mascot who is 16 now aspires to be in music. We were told that she is gifted when she was in band. They begged her not to drop out but she hit that conforming issue. So now she is taking base guitar lessons. She is very interested in what goes on with you guys cuz it lets her know that there is always different avenues awaiting her!!! Good luck and Wishin ya the best!!!

I love you so much. I am proud of you. I personally like you in this genre b/c I can understand the words! Ha~ Anyway, I hope you know how much I love and support you. I would love and support you no matter what, though. I think your post was great. I'm praying for you always and proud to be your aunt no matter where life takes you.

Look at all the people who love you guys. No matter what, your life has already been more exciting than most!

As I have stated before, country music has many types of genres and there is nothing wrong with what Nick and you perform. I have enjoyed each and every performance you two have put on. Any one watching you two perform can tell you both love what you are doing and that is what matters the most. I do not believe y'all are posers in the least. I am looking forward to when yall put a cd out and purchasing it. I didn't even start listening to country until Tim McGraw came out with "Don't Take The Girl" so I am more into the more modern, rock country myself. Just keep on doing what you're doing and I know you two are doing to be successful. God Bless and know that you really do have lots of fans out here supporting y'all.
