1) Coldplay - Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends & Does It Offend You, Yeah? - You Have No Idea What You're Getting Yourself Into (Tie. Both are too damn good)

3) The Wombats - A Guide To Love, Loss & Desperation (This was released in the US in 2008 so it counts)

4) Santogold - Santogold (Thanks Sluggo for playing her on Catch of the Day)

5) The Airborne Toxic Event - The Airborne Toxic Event (Thanks Kat)

6) Jaguar Love - Take Me To The Sea (I'm glad I still check PGMG's myspace page)

7) Vampire Weekend - Vampire Weekend (How can you not like this band)

8) Metallica - Death Magnetic (Metallica can still rock)

9) Kanye West - 808's & Heartbreak (Such a different album for Kanye)
