NO COVER!!!

So - for all of those very sweet fans who were pulling for us in TX - IT WAS AWESOME!

We were definitely treated right, down there.  We got to play with Stonehoney - they are even better! with great new songs - and of course, our favorite, the 29 Mules...

Austin was a treat, playing under the Sin City banner was thrilling!

Ft. Worth was great, with a great big dance hall and couples out to dance!  We had to break in a new bass player we picked up on the way, Jerry Adams, and we are forever grateful to him because he fell right in with us, had a great attitude, and brought folks to the shows!

We were also fortunate enough to be joined by Aubrey Richmond, who was out touring with a few different bands herself, Larry Bagby, who sat in with us, and Kevin Banford, who was just their to lend moral support.

We also had the extra-special treat of meeting Casey Cannon's mamma, who lives still in Ft. Worth...

Dallas was a great opportunity for us although we didn't play.  We met a DJ for KHYI in Dallas, Rick Larsen, who was their to host the Mules live on 95.3.  But his enthusiasm for them was so great, it bubbled over to us, and he gladly accepted our CD and we're hoping he'll love it and play us on the radio - keep your fingers crossed!  Or call and request us...  ;)

All in all it was a total success and we're already plotting how we can get back out there...

And again, we want to thank the 29 Mules for having us along...they continue to make the difference for us every step of the way - we love you guys!

Ventura last Thursday was even better than the first time and we are hoping to build some more support for American Country music up there.  They have a great blues tradition there, but they're lookin' to shake it up, so if you have friends you can send our way, don't hesitate!

From Q Country, have a great week, hope to see you at Joxer's
