Well, it's only about a month to go before I can resume recording my album. I'm writing a new song that started off as a jam in the recording studio. I was in there with Richard - drums and Raydn - bass, who had just recorded 5 tracks for me. We had some spare time at the end of the session so I wasn't going to waste it! I jotted down some chords, and the 2 of them just jammed them out with the record button on. It sounded great so I'm making a song out of it. It's a lot of fun writing lyrics over a finished framework. It's a very different approach and one I'd like to try again sometime....
