Guys Vs. Men will be a play based on a book I've been working on, of the same name.  The play will focus on Xen Te', a boy who awakens one day to realize his head has become disconnected from his body.

As he ventures into the world, his daily commute is interrupted as protests have clogged downtown New Crescent City, where he works.  After working his way through the crowd, a bomb threat near his building has him thrown in jail, alongside several of the scattering protesters.

While in jail, he will unwittingly become involved in an underground network of artists and activists, collectively known as the Insanity Defense, who treat him as one of their own.  As he settles in that night, Xen's head will have vivid dreams, painting a vast, mythic view of the times he is living in, and instructing him of his duty: to make his head and body work together and restore righteousness to the Age- as the current Avatar of Vishnu, the Preserver.

Xen will choose to ignore these dreams, and his bail will be set by a captivating fashion designer named Gaia Jasmine, whos acts as assistant to the underground Arts patron / Real Estate tycoon, Mr. Maker.  Xen is invited, on condition of his release, to an Art Opening being held that night by Mr. Maker, which will thereafter render going back to his day-to-day office job a near impossibility.

Venturing across town the following morning to get dressed for work, Xen recieves an instant-severance-pay from his company, Jaxon Securities, which has laid him off, and claims to be moving its operations out of town.

With his severance pay and an offer he can't refuse- from Mr. Maker himself, Xen is faced with the choice of finding a new job, or going underground to become a part of Mister Maker's Artist-led movement.

His head says no, and his body says yes (if for selfish reasons), but a third voice comes to him in his dreams - and, through exertion of its will over his disconnected self, will seek to steer him in another direction, Entirely...
