There's no reason to link to this one; it's real short, even if it ain't eggsactly sweet, straight from Razorcake:
SMACKS, THE:
Protected by the Ejaculation of Serpents: CD
A two-man band on a art rock bender offer up twenty-seven tracks of minimalist skronk thats better than one would expect. Jimmy Alvarado (Self-released)
Razorcake's a good rag, in that no frills, largely humorless, latter-day punk rock kind of way. So go check out the general site... http://www.razorcake.org/site/index.php
Then again, we're talking about a magazine that in their 20th issue, in the second part of an interview with Hasil Adkins, let stand in the copy-editing Hasil saying Tudor's Biscuit World as "Tooters Biscuit World" in print. I mean, just a simple Google search for "biscuit world" + "west virginia" brings up several mentions of Tudor's on the first page alone. Maybe they ain't got Google in California. They sure as shit ain't got any good biscuits, we'll say that one right now.
And we'll take the recent Sleazegrinder review of the Smacks!, with exclamation point intact, and a side order of hashbrowns, instead.
