My name is Jessica, I'm 27 years old (will be 28 at the end of the year) and I'm from Belgium. For those of you who don't know where that is, it's a small country in Europe, somewhere between France, Germany and the Netherlands.
What do I write? I write my blog, about all different kinds of things. And next to that I try to write stories. I would like to write a book one day, but to do that I will need to get a lot more experience. Most of the things I write, never get read because I keep them private. But I posted one story (or part of it) on my blog, if you want to see a (not very good) attempt. I started writing a couple of years ago as a form of therapy. No diary, just stories. I found out that it makes me more relaxed and it helps me when I'm feeling down. I makes me forget the world around me for a moment, and I guess that's something we all need from time to time.
Now, that's enough about me. Hope I didn't bore you too much :)

Hi everybody, and thanks for the welcome. I'm pretty new to Coffeehouse. In fact, I've only been on MySpace since May and in some ways it's still new too. Haven't learned to use all those bells and whistles yet. My name's Debra Purdy Kong and I've been writing short stories, mystery novels, personal essays, and articles for nearly thirty years. Writing is something I've loved doing since childhood. Actually, writing book reports and essays were the only things I enjoyed and did well at in school. I started a journal when I was 22(therapy through a bad relationship) and I still keep journal writing today. Over the past year, I've also started writing book reviews and blogs. I have a blog on MySpace about my personal life, another on AuthorsDen that focuses on true white-collar crime issues, and the third is about writing. Nearly all of my short stories, articles and essays have been published, so I can't complain. Still, I don't know if I'll ever turn writing into a fulltime career. I've been on with my personal page for a few years and I'm still getting used to it as well. :-) It seems ilke I learn one new thing and they post two more bells and a whistle here and there to overwhelm me one more time, haha.

Welcome to the coffeehouse! I hope you and the others enjoy some of the prompts I put up. I am about to post another using a website that I completely forgot about until my stepson just mentioned it to me. I'll send out a bulletin in a moment.

I am Terry. I love to write- I always have. I've just started experimenting a little with poetry(prose), but mainly I write about life memories, (I've got 45 years worth!) haha, and nature, day to day events, changing seasons, epiphanies, people(and angels), etc...
