Are you sick of the corporate idiotic rubbish that is pumped into your TV, brainwashing your kids, turning them into dumb consumers? The sheer volume of mindnumbing programs designed to fill the airwaves in between trying to sell you stuff? Well i have a breath of fresh air for you.... please check out
http://www.themagicballshow.com/ or have a look in my top friends.... and add
'the magic ball' and spread the word...
Serena Kinchla is a mum who was also sick of the garbage her kids were watching on american TV... So she decided to do something about it... Having a little experience in movies and TV shows, she took her camera and travelled the world from Bali to Mexico, filming children all over the planet... The story involves 2 kids, Ayden and Ashlee who discover a Djini (genie?) in a junk shop... He transports them to different countries and cultures... and so begins a mesmerising journey full of fantastic music (you might even spot some shpongle ;))... it's brightly coloured, exciting, psychedelic (for the adults!) and educational (not a word normally associated with fun... But you only have to see how much children seem to enjoy watching it to realise that learning doesn't have to be serious and dry! ). It's only about 28 minutes long... perfect for a weary parent to get a little bit of peace and a break

... although most parents end up enjoying the show too :) . It's for kids between the ages of 4 and 11 i suppose... my 4 year old nephew sat hypnotised and wanted to watch it again... A school class of 8 year olds started dancing to some of the tunes... the girls like the ballet section, and the older boys like the 'rock out' part... It's intelligent and fun...
