At almost every show we play we meet someone new and memorable. It's not every show, however, that we get to strike up conversation with a local celebrity. After our show at Red and Black on H street last Thursday (October 8th), however, we saddled up to the bar and found ourselves deep in conversation with a really cool gal named
Maggie Mayhem. After talking DC for a while (venues, good bars, the Caps) she revealed her dedicated and unwavering passion for local music to us.

blog is well followed by fans of all kinds. Her
blog features not only local music, but all things cool and exciting in DC (I know sometimes it feels like we have to dig, but she's done the work for us, and she's come up with some pretty crazy stuff)
After talking with her, not only is our EP's title track, Signs of Waking Up, going to air on her
radio show, but she gave us a friendly shout out and recap of our show on her
blog.
