Dear Collective

After an extended hiatus following the production of Slam the Body Politik, we are now reawakening the Synaptic Graffiti Collective, to begin a new project, "In Living Memory".

SGC has been dormant for the past few years while its  founding members assisted in the removal of an unwanted political growth on the right side of their national consciousness. You'll be happy to know that the operation was successful and the little malignant tumour was excised. It was recently seen trying to re-attach it's self to the current US President!

We have designed an  SGC-MySpace site where we will be uploading music, spoken word, art, written and multimedia samples. We have also organised a special SGC-MySpaceGroup area where creative artists in all fields can collaborate and evolve their works. Technology has moved on since "Slam" and now it is much easier to create an environment to facilitate collaboration. The SGC Group is specifically for members, past and present and participation will be determined by the collective's founders.

The eventual goal will be to bring the collaborative works together in a CD/DVD/Live performances. The Criteria for "In Living Memory" will shortly be posted to the Myspace Blog. While this project will have a less strident political focus and be more an attempt to connect the works of various artists based around the concept of memory, artistic fires seldom stay below the surface for long and strong opinions of the world are part of the "id".

We welcome all past & present contributors, to visit us on Myspace, Add Synaptic Graffiti as a friend if they are already Myspace users and to join the SGC group.
