Starting off with some really good news – decoration of the new place is going really well so Persecution will be back next Friday – 28^th November!!!

In case you haven't heard the new venue is going to be called Midian and is on Dovecot Street, just up from the Arc (it's the place which used to be Angels).   And as you'll see it's a bit larger than our previous set-up, giving us more scope for future events (speaking of which – tickets will soon be on sale for our New Year's Eve party).

If you can't wait that long to see it, have a sneaky peek at our 'work in progress' photos in our MySpace photo album – though of course you will have to wait until the night to see the finished product, we have to have leave some kind of surprise for you….

The pub itself will be rock/alt friendly at all times so you can pop in for a drink or a game of pool during the week too.  There's loads of other stuff planned to make the place even better but of course this will take time (and money!!) –so the more you support us, the quicker it will happen J
