A new video, in which Julie talks about the Rotosound Super Bronze strings that she has been using for over twenty years and plays her tune "The Cat and the Butterfly", has been added to the page.

The Cat And The Butterfly, a title inspired by her murderous moggy who spends each summer lurking under bushes and pouncing on butterflies, is a tune which grew from a version of See That Girl Sitting On The Fence, reputed to be based on an old Rev Gary Davis riff, along with another tune with an unknown title. Over years of playing, and experimentation on the themes, ideas from the tunes gradually merged together and morphed into a separate piece of music.

Julie, who became a Rotosound endorsee in 2007, is the latest artist to be confirmed for the Acoustic Avalon guitar show in Leicester on the 14th and 15th November 2009.

In addition to performing at the show, Julie will be running a guitar and string clinic on the Rotosound stand for the duration of the event.
