Current mood:  thankful
I initially typed this up for the end of Tour Journal #4, but decided I'd just put it in it's own blog.

Personally, I'd like to thank the following individuals:

-First and foremost: Stevie, Davey, Billy, Robin, Chuck and Etta. All y'all are fucking amazing people.

-From Pocatello: Peter, for setting up the show and just being a sweetheart in general. Sparrow, for making a fucking amazing raw cake.

-From Missoula: Everyone at the Zoo Down Art Space. I wish I could remember the name of the kid who set the show up, I feel like a total asshole... oh wait! Max! Thank you so much!!! Missoula was definitely my favorite show of tour! Also, thank you to my friend Sandy for driving down from Helena to see us play! And a very special thanks to everyone who helped us speed up the process of fixing the van.

-From Billings: Matt! You are a fucking incredible person, and you have made every trip I've ever made to Billings worth it. And by the way, I finally got around to listening to Noise! Noise! Noise! more... how the fuck are you so good? We need to play a show together sometime!

-From Minot: xJesse Bootsx, for being so god-damn cute and sweet! And Billy, for letting us crash at your house even though you weren't there. T-Pain! Chris, for setting up the show! Echo's Answer, for reminding me of Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and A Silver Mount Zion. Barta and Alex, you two are just too cute!

-From Moorhead: All the kids in Forgotten Voices. Seriously, y'all rocked. Thank you, Ben for being so tremendously accomodating in helping me find places for oil. I can't remember the name of the individual who cooked the food, but it was definitely some of the best food I ate on the whole tour.

-From Minneapolis: fucking SERIOUSLY all the kids at Blast Off! for putting me up for the 3rd time now, and just putting up Salt Lake kids in general. Thank you to Jesse for setting us up a really wonderful show at the Crows Nest. Mad props and thanks to Nemo and Rivers, and to Abandon Ship for playing with us.

-From Normal: well, Kirsten, I didn't get to hang out with you much because serious crazies were going down, but I think that you're a fucking rad person, and I wish that we could have got to know each other. And thank you so much for everything. Thank you to the Thundy Hosue. And there was one person whose name I can't remember who seriously complemented my accordion playing. At that moment, that really meant the world to me. Thank you.

-From Indianapolis: Kelly, you are the kick-assiest person on the face of the planet. Thank you for the show, the hospitality, and the knowledge. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing you again.

-From Bloomington: Eric! I exchanged maybe 2 sentences with you at the very most. But it was fucking awesome! You're seriously a really nice person. It was really awesome of you to put us up at your place. Oh, and a thanks to the restaurant called Roots. Y'alls BBQ Tempeh sandwich is fuckin' dynamite.

-From Columbia: Leola and Lucy! You are two of the nicest people I've met in a long time. Two of the funniest as well. I'm really looking forward to seeing you on the Yunavi tour. And thanks to everyone else at the Diva House. The soup and the tofu scramble wraps were a mite over the top of the charts.

-From Lawrence: all the bands we played with, and Matt (again, I'm sorry if that name is wrong) for doing what you do at The Bachelor Pad. It's really amazing, truly. I wish that I hadn't been so skeptical, but in a way, it was nice to be blown away. Thanks to Fatty for being the random-assed North Dakotan that you are, and being in Lawrence for the show. It was really really good to see you. And thanks to that 24 hour coffee shop that has a cereal bar. Seriously, yo...

-From Denver: thank you to the totally punx waitress at Dennys. I know, Dennys sucks. But sometimes when you've been in a van for 14 hours some fries are nice. And when a totally down waitress is helping you, it's pretty awesome. So thank you. Very much. And thanks to Angelos for letting us play there, even though there was a huge misunderstanding. And thanks to the Water Course Diner for all that fuckin' oil! Hell fuckin' yeah!!!!

That should be all! From me anyway...

Once again, keep it real.

Love,
Ian Accord
