Sofia Ribeiro got the
first prize at the first edition of the International Jazz Competition for Singing Musicians
"Voicingers 2008"! The juri was presided by the legendary Norwegian vocalist Karin Krog, known, among other things, for her work with Dexter Gordon. The other members of the panel were Jorgos Skolias (famous Polish singer) and Pascal Anquetil (director of the Jazz Information Center in Paris and a member of the editorial committee of "Jazzman").
