Well, I suppose I'm updating this because I'm sick of looking at the same five blogs on my page, and change is good. Exact change is better, I suppose.
I've been working on my html the past couple of days, partly out of boredom, partly out of frustration, partly for the knowledge. Haven't learned much, actually. It looks alright though, I guess. Gotta learn how to make me some transparent looking box things, I guess. Text is sorta hard to read.
It's 5:52 AM for those keeping score.
So today was a good one. I feel like a burden has really been lifted from me. Making my own choices, you know? Real personal freedom. Ahem. And yes, my roommate went home for the weekend, so that's good.
I'm glad I decided to stay up the weekend. So far - went to Dan's "Husseini-Fortress" as I lovingly call it, with Mike, CalZ and AJ, much gaming went down. In ITG/DDR, my legs are feeling pretty good, but my stamina seems to have reached a plateau. I think I flail too much. Also got to play some old Nintendo games on AJ's modded PS2, played Battletoads Double Dragon with Dan, that was such a throwback...That game rules on so many levels. Also played Shadow of the Ninja, hadn't played that in a long time...sort of a poor man's Ninja Gaiden. Difficulty still pretty rough though. Somewhere in there, we enjoyed some wonderful Pizza Hut zah. 5 bucks for 4 slices, I really can't argue with that considering the quality of that Pan crust. Once I fell asleep after watching an hour of Gradius 5, I was stirred by Mike for us to get going, so off we went.
On a whim, driving, I said, SHIT Denny's is still open...Everyone seemed a bit hungry, so I turned in. CalZ was like..."IHOP is still open too!" So we obviously turned around and went to IHOP instead, b/c ALL I WANTED WAS SOME PANCAKES!
We get in, to my dismay, they do not have waffles...I know it's a pancake house...but waffles should be viewed as an International dish as well. So instead I ordered the Pumpkin Pancakes, or "Pumps" as our waiter called them. That word will be forever ingrained in this memory, and will live on in inside jokes for years. B/C at 2:30 in the morning, when someone refers to your pancakes as "Pumps," there's nothing else to do but laugh.
After about an hour wait for our food (who knows why, but who cares, it's 3:30 AM, where do we hafto be...?) I get my Pumps with whipped cream on top, our waiter recommends I eat them as is, they're good that way. Why not? He seems pretty swift...
LOL
But yeah, they are actually really good. Wished they had more whipped cream on them. But yes, it was like Pumpkin Pie in Pancakes form. And it was good.
After those shenanigans, came back to Shaw, parked, said bye to the fellas, came home, sat down and de-robed, B/C it's all about freedom.
I think I'll end up writing another blog tomorrow about more good times. I'm tired of seeing "I don't like when juice wears tights" as a freaking headline on this page.
Nite.
