HEY
a rough first mix of our song(s) olio/d jam is up on myspace now. it isn't available for download cuz we aren't totally satisfied with it yet, but we're excited enough to want to show you.
it was recorded live on first take and its the first thing dougs done in his new studio. it isn't mastered or anything yet, and doug doesn't mix things NEARLY as high as i do, so you gotta really TURN IT UP to achieve true rock zen.
this is definitely going to be on whatever our next release is. i feel silly saying this because i'm always skeptical that anyone gives a shit about this band, but for anyone out there who is totally dismayed that this wasn't recorded on a phonograph cylinder in the appalachian mountains like our last record, i send my DEEPEST apologies. if it's any comfort, there were far more overdubs on "the exceptional bastards" than on this one. which is to say that there are zero overdubs on this.
to those who aren't horrified, we hope you're as psyched as we are
