Hope all of you are well. Sika is in the middle of its first national tour. We are driving through SD as we speak and about to enter NE. Anyway, we played a couple of shows in Fergus Falls, MN and what a response we received. Imagine if MUSE came to Fergus Falls, that's how we felt there. Huge success! People bought more CDs and t-shirts than we sold in Minneapolis in the last three years. People buying us drinks, saying how good we were, asking when we are gonna be back, and ......... paying us cash to play more heavy songs! I have to admit, with our genre of music where even in our home town Minneapolis people's faces scream at our shows "What the heck was that?", we expected "crickets" after our songs. But, i'm happy to report, I was so wrong! At the end of the show we had the entire bar singing the end "Na na na na na" of the Beatles' "Hey Jude" acapella. I've never experienced such a reaction. Needless to say, we were extremely pleased with the shows in Fergus Falls. Now we are on the way to Vegas and LA and our sole goal to simply duplicate the success we were able to achieve in rural MN.
