So, as most of you may have heard, I'M PREGNANT!!! Yes it's true, and it was quite a surprise I may add. We weren't planning on this quite yet in our lives, but it just happened! The lord has his plan and we must follow! I am currently 8 weeks along, not too far, but far enough to tell where the baby is on a sonogram. I had a doc's appt. the other day and things are going just fine. As for me, i've been ok, a little sick, but not too bad. Things are going really well so far! I just thought I would give you all a quick update on things.

I'm so happy for yall!!! Are your mom and Dad excited about being Grandparents?? I'm sure they are! The only thing I can say is once the kid starts testing you(trust me it happens early!!) just make sure that you and Eugene stick together on the decision/discipline of your child. Alex is only 2 and already runs to Terrance and asks the same question if i tell her no! lol Good Luck and call me sometime so we can get together!!! Luv Ya Sis

So, haveing a baby is the most exciting thing in the world! You might think now that it's so far to the end, but it FLYS by. It felt like I was only pregnant for a lil while, not 9 months. Also, be ready for anything! I went into labor 2 weeks before my due date. ;-) When you first see them, it's AMAZING! You love them before you ever get to meet them! It's an amazing feeling! There's going to be ups and downs, but you'll be able to get through it! I know it's going to be rough with Eugene not being around, but you have tons of family and friends that will help ya out!!!! If you ever need anything just message me!!! I'm so happy for you and Eugene!!!!

Oh by the way, when you go into labor get an epidural! It'll be your friend!! lol =)

Well Congratulations! I have a little bit of advice from my whole whoppin' three months of experience! lol Mylicon will probably be your best friend. I suggest the Equate version. You get twice the medicine at a quarter of the cost, and it works the same. Get a routine started as soon as possible. When you bathe him, the bath water will probably need to be hotter than what you would bathe in. I would always make the water warm, but Kaydence would freeze. She takes baths in what feels like to me as scalding hot water. The most important thing to remember is NOBODY KNOWS YOUR BABY BETTER THAN YOU AND EUGENE WILL!! Everyone's always telling what's wrong with my baby when she's fussing, and they're never right. Me and Jeb are the ones who spend the most time with her, and we know what's wrong. Oh yeah, you WILL NOT always know what's wrong. Pack an arsenal. You'll need it. When we can't figure out what's wrong, we use mylicon, teething tablets, orajel, milk, swing, music, etc. Trust me. Something will eventually work. Work with your baby. Don't always help it. We would make her do stuff on her own, and it really builds up muslce and motor skills quick. At a month old, she rolled over for the first time. She doesn't do it often because she HATES laying down, but when she is, she'll do her damndest to roll over. Don't take half the advice people give you. At least not people who haven't had experience with little babies in years. They'll spoil them to the point where you can't do anything with them. The rest you gotta play by ear. Oh, if you have to have a c-section, and Eugene isn't around, get someone to stay with you. I had such a hard time getting out of bed at night to take care of her.
