We are the people, we have the power.

we had the power to elect Obama, we have the power.

it is from the people of the people and by the people that CHANGE happens.

are u sick and tired of being sick and tired?

some of you might not know this, but  if a full-time student as well as everything else im doing.

im writing this to inform, and to inspire....

going to school is SUPPOSED TO BE FREE!

are you tired of paying TUITION FEES? they are FEES for a reaon, u know that right? are u willing to be in debt for the years after you graduate with a piece of paper to prove how hard you have worked in school, only to end up working a part-time/full-time minimum wage job paying off you tuition FEE loans!?

NO?

aight, then get ur ass up and do something about it. this is the year, this is the time.

"yes we can" go to school for free.

-don't let others tell u we can't, it has been done before we can do it again.

"yes we can" go to school to learn.

-rather than worrying about bills.

"yes we can" change the way College Univesities make "doops" out of their students.

-they want to increase tuition, in the next few months. we CAN'T let that happen.

we won't let them tell us we need to pay for school!

if you really think about it,

what is our tuition FEE paying for?

(i thought it paid for my professors income, NOPE WRONG)

what is our tuition FEE paying for?

a new starbuck on campus? lol are u kidding me?

THIS HAS GOT TO END, I WANT AN EDUCATION, A DEGREE, AND MOST OF ALL  A GOOD LIFE.

DO YOU?

they were able to fight for our veterans for a g.i. bill, andnow we as a student body are asking for the same.... taxes should pay for our schooling. there is a book by marc Bousquet u should read called "how the university works" you should check it out.

in the 60's students fought for free schooling and they were awarded it, they paid a tuition of about 100 bucks and that was it. they didn't pay a FEE, fee implies that it isnt in the institutions budget to have it in the first place. a FEE excites the idea that we are recieving a service for this amount of money.
we are recieving an education, but this education comes from professors who are NOT getting paid by the FEES we are paying. So, where is our student FEE money going?
thats our debate.
it should not cost 1,000's of dollars every 10-weeks or so to attend school. there is no housing, food, clothes, supplies, books or ANYTHING included. it is just plain and simple a FEE.

and you're right. school is the single most important thing we can do and invest in.
in high school we break our backs to get great grades to graduate and go off a 4-year university on a scholarship, i was that kid, i didnt recieve any help. no scholarship. i graduated magna cum ladi and played 4 varsity sports. i know what hard work is. these FEES are unacceptable.

What exactly are you talking about here? How can I find more info? This is one of my biggest issues right now.
