This up 'n' comin' future England striker(!) is my nephew, Luke Varney (seen here scoring goals for Crewe Alexandra FC). Tipped for the top and a transfer to one of the 'bigger' clubs is expected in the summer. Watch this space! Up The Alex!!

Luke has recently been transferred to Championship side Charlton Athletic in a £2.5million deal, signing a 4 year contract.


Although recently relegated, Charlton are an ambitious side and Luke aims to assist them in their quest for an instant return to English football's elite top-flight.....The Premiership!!!
