Brighton on Brighton at the Prince Albert

"As a venue known for being at the forefront of live music in Brighton, it seemed apt for artistic documentation of such events to be shown at the Prince Albert pub. However, I could not help but feel a little awkward as I leant over punters eating their lunchtime egg and chips while observing the stills of many a gig shown at venues across this 'indie capital'. The more recognisable images used in local editorials, as well as others capturing the familiar gig scene, provoke a wave of nostalgia, even despite the distracting pub stools and patterned wallpaper. Showcasing a handful of Brighton's photographic talent, this is an exhibition to enjoy at your leisure with a pint in hand, whilst you also absorb the seemly soundtrack and atmosphere.
