Well, the excitement in my life is this: My mom bought Patrick and I a car. We go tommorow to the DMV to get plates for it. It is a 2000 Hundai (I know I am butchering up the spelling.) I will take some pictures of it to post up at some point in time.
I had gotten a couple of dulcimers beginning of summer from a well known dulcimer maker (at least on the Everything Dulcimer boards.) I have *not* been happy with them at all. They are nicely made - do not get me wrong. They just don't feel *right* to me. To that end, I have a couple on order from McSpadden Dulcimers. I know they are well made, easy to play, and most importantly, feel *right*. I will be getting a 6-string all cherry teardrop dulcimer, like what Cyndi Lauper played on American Idol on "Time After Time". I will also be getting a 4 string teardrop, with cherry back and redwood top. That one I will have in DGd tuning. After I get them, I will make some videos of my playing them to put onto to my YouTube page.
Mom finally meet Bella, our poodle / chihuahua mix, and loved her. Bella was a touch timid around my mom's 2 poodles, but then started playing with her male poodle and wore him out (and got wore out in the process.)
Christine is 3 months pregnant, and no complications yet. I am thankful for that. The big however though is I just do not know how responsible her husband Jason will be when the baby is born. But that's a while yet.
Need to get coffee going work out and go over to the bank, so be well.
