Ever wonder how to select a mentor?  First, let's establish that you already have multiple mentors.  Anyone you have chosen to emulate has been a mentor for you, whether it was a parent, teacher, friend, sibling.  It doesn't matter.  Here's some criteria for selecting mentors:

1.  Find people who have what you want.  Learn how they got there and copy!
2.  Have a mentor in every area of your life you want to work on (ie finances, business, relationships, health, spiritual, etc.)
3.  Choose mentors that specialize in what you want to learn, and study that specialty.
4.  If they are a mentor you are in communication with, make sure they hold you accountable for what you said you want (even when you think you don't want to be).
5.  You will resist changing your comfortable ways.  Set structures in place to have you be successful in your end goal.

Always remember, you can have the life you have, or you can build the life you want.  You must be more committed to the new result than your current comfort to create a shift.  It is never effortless!!  It takes inspiration or desperation to choose something other than what you have now!

I agree. I liked this one when I heard it - "some people dream of success, others wake up and work hard at it.
