Who Gives Kudos:

Tuesday, May 12, 2009
Greetings friends, I first want to thank you all for the well wishes and prayers you've sent/ Thankfully they have helped and recovery is slow but progressing.

Surgery went well, the doc says I should be able to return to work soon. Typimg is still difficult so forgive any typos in this post.
I currently have a nitrous oxide gas bubble in my left eye which will eventually go away. It's giving me a weird sensation, best way to explain it is like your eyes building up with tears. You can see fine but the tears are making it difficult to look down. The only difference is I have no tears, just that sensation.
Day by day it's getting smaller and hopefully will not obstruct my view much longer.

Many apologies for those awaiting artwork.  This unfortunate setback will only affect the time in which I would have already finished your requests. As for the future personal projects they also must wait until I can see more clearly.

While fighting to recover my sight I also have been fighting depression. Needless to say one of the worst things an artist can face is loss of sight. I can't begin to tell you how much praying and contemplating I have been doing this past week.  Thankfully things will get better with time, Thanks again for your love and support. More art will come...someday.
Til then, mad luv and please...respect the ladies.
Tori

I'm glad surgery went well. I know it sounds cheesy, but hang it there. Things will get better! hugs, tordawg

We love you. I know you will be fine sugar.

Check out this artist's amazing story. You're already doing better than he. This artist lost his sight completely, and still makes some art that's arguable more interesting than before. Hopefully this will provide you with some much needed inspiration and faith....

I'm glad your getting better. Take your time and don't rush it. You'll get better, just like you said the bubbles getting smaller. Soon you'll wake up and it won't bother you anymore. In the mean time focus on being positive and doing things you might not have normally done cause you were drawing so much ^_^.

Thanks so much to you all. I will take your advice my dear. I've been listening to music more closely and smelling the world around me. It;s true that your other senses start to improve when one is lost. Luckily I'm also starting to notice improvements in my vision. I know I can make it through the next couple of weeks, the worst is behind me.
Mad love
