So we've been getting a lot of questions about when the new album is coming out, when the videos we recently shot are going to be available, and when we're going to play in your town again, so here goes...

We are back to working hard on our third CD, Green Fairy Tales, and as a matter of fact we just recently posted a new track, Big Black Boots, which features our good friend Jinx'd on vocals.  We will probably be releasing the album sometime this summer, and I dare say it will be worth the wait.  This is a very diverse collection of songs, some very different than what you've heard from us before, but never fear, we are still the same Cockfight Club that you have come to know and love!

Our music video H.P. Lovecraft, featuring the multi-talented Daniel Lee in an uncanny performance as the title character, had its world-premiere at the H.P. Lovecraft film festival in Portland, Oregon last October and has since screened at the Amberg Horrorfest in Amberg, Germany.  It has been entered into several more film festivals around the world, so keep an eye out for news about where you can see it.

As many of you know, we also shot a video for our song Vampyric last fall.  The Vampyric video is being produced, as was H.P. Lovecraft, by Songshine Entertainment .  It is currently in post-production, and I can tell you it's going to be amazing!  See a very small preview in the form of a few pics of the graveyard scenes at the end of this blog.

We are planning on including both videos on a re-release of our first CD, über güber, that will come out later this year.  The CD will come with a bonus DVD that will include music videos, live footage, interviews, behind the scenes stuff, remixes and more!

It's true that we haven't been playing live as much recently as we normally have.  This is partly because of how busy we've been trying to finish up the new record and these video projects!  Also after the loss of our last drummer Bobby, we have been searching for a regular drummer to fill out the line-up.  Our good friend Craig Carrigee from the mighty Seance Fiction was awesome enough to sit in with us on New Years Eve, and he'll be drumming for us again at the ImagiCon Sci-Fi & Fantasy Convention in Birmingham, Alabama this March.  But don't worry, wherever you live, Cockfight Club will be rocking your block again soon!
